Information about the producers of cheese

The name of «Tête de Moine» has been known ever since 1790 for the cheese of Bellelay. This cheese is made of fresh milk from the Jura mountain region and ripens during at least 3 months on small planks made of spruce wood.

The protected desgination of origin«Tête de Moine AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) is the consumer’s guarantee for the authenticity of the product.
